Goalkeeper is the most technical position on the soccer field. A goalie needs to know how to stop shots, distribute the ball, and lead from the back. All this comes with dedicated training that helps formalize solid foundations and develop good habits.

The Finesse Soccer Goalkeeper Academy is a coaching team comprised of former collegiate goalkeepers dedicated to teaching young girls how to play goalkeeper. All training programs are offered in the Kansas City metro area.

Players participating in any of our Beginner Goalkeeper Training Programs can expect to develop the following skills:

• proper catching technique
• proper foot movement
• introduction to diving
• introduction to angles and goal dimension familiarity
